Pathos AI partners with BMS and Tempus to use AI for Alzheimer’s drug development
Pathos AI announced two collaborations aimed at accelerating drug development for neurological disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease.
The agreement with Bristol Myers Squibb gives the pharma company non-exclusive access to Pathos's Foundry platform across its portfolio and exclusive use for neuroscience research for three years, while BMS will also participate in Pathos's upcoming Series E financing.
In a separate deal, Pathos will pay $55 million for a five-year contract with Tempus AI, which will build a large dataset of hundreds of thousands of patients with neurological conditions to support adaptive clinical trials, with Pathos using the Foundry platform to analyze the data.
The three companies hope the combination of extensive clinical data, AI-driven drug design, and accelerated trial design will speed the delivery of new therapies to patients.
