Pathos AI acquires bispecific ADC from Alphamab and secures AstraZeneca partnership

Pathos AI announced it will pay $125 million upfront for the rights to JSKN016, a bispecific TROP2/HER3 antibody‑drug conjugate from China’s Alphamab Oncology. The agreement also includes up to $2.09 billion in milestone payments and tiered royalties.

JSKN016 has already progressed into phase 3 trials in Greater China. Pathos said its AI‑driven platform, Foundry, identified the candidate as a strong fit for its pipeline, highlighting the role of artificial intelligence in its portfolio decisions.

In addition to the Alphamab deal, Pathos secured a partnership with AstraZeneca, adding a major pharmaceutical collaborator to help advance the program and potentially broaden its reach beyond China.

The combined deals are expected to strengthen Pathos’s pipeline of solid‑tumor therapies and underscore the growing importance of AI in drug discovery and partnership strategies.
