Pathos AI signs two cancer deals, including $2 bn contract with China's Alphamab and partnership with AstraZeneca
Pathos AI announced two new collaborations to expand its oncology pipeline, one with AstraZeneca and another with a subsidiary of China's Alphamab Oncology.
The deal with Jiangsu Alphamab Biopharmaceuticals involves an upfront payment of $125 million and potential milestones up to about $2.1 billion for a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate in late-stage development for breast cancer, plus tiered royalties.
Financial terms of the AstraZeneca partnership were not disclosed, but it focuses on a preclinical PROTAC degrader also aimed at breast cancer.
Both agreements will use Pathos's AI platform, Foundry, to accelerate development of the assets.
