AI-driven biotech Enveda secures $311 million Series E to advance plant-derived drug candidates

Enveda Biosciences, a Colorado AI drug discovery company, announced a $311 million Series E financing round, one of the larger biotech raises this year.

The firm uses artificial intelligence to scan plants and microbes for molecules, predict their structures and functions, and rank them by therapeutic potential before chemists synthesize the most promising hits.

Enveda currently has three candidates in human trials for immune disorders and obesity, and it is evaluating 17 additional programs for future development.

The new capital will fund further clinical advancement of these pipelines, supporting the company’s aim to deliver first-in-class mechanisms derived from natural sources.
