Attovia Therapeutics and Braveheart Bio announce plans for biotech IPOs amid market upswing
Attovia Therapeutics and Braveheart Bio disclosed on Tuesday that they intend to go public, joining a recent wave of large biotech offerings.
Attovia, which was spun out of Alamar Biosciences in 2023, has advanced its experimental itch-relief drug ATTO-1310 into Phase 1 trials in healthy volunteers and patients with chronic pruritis and high-itch atopic dermatitis. The company plans to start a Phase 2 study by the first half of 2027.
The firm also reported two additional candidates slated for first-in-human studies in 2027. ATTO-2306 targets IL-31 and IL-13 as a differentiated approach for atopic dermatitis, while ATTO-1091 aims at TL1A, IL-23 and integrin α3β7 for potential treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.
