Roche reports superior survival for KRAS G12C inhibitor divarasib in phase 3 trial
Roche presented detailed results from its phase 3 Krascendo 1 trial of the KRAS G12C inhibitor divarasib, comparing it with Amgen’s Lumakras and Bristol Myers Squibb’s Krazati.
The open‑label study enrolled 338 previously treated NSCLC patients with KRAS G12C mutations, excluding those who had already received a KRAS‑targeted therapy. Patients received divarasib once daily, Lumakras once daily, or Krazati twice daily.
Roche reported median overall survival of 17.7 months for the 167 patients on divarasib versus 12 months for the 171 patients on the comparators. Median progression‑free survival was 9.8 months versus 5.7 months, respectively.
One‑year disease‑free survival was 44% for divarasib patients compared with 24% for the control group, underscoring the drug’s advantage in this setting.
