Roche’s divarasib shows survival benefit over Amgen and BMS drugs in KRAS G12C lung cancer trial

Jul 2, 2026·read at BioPharma Dive ↗Positive readoutPositive

Roche reported that its experimental KRAS G12C inhibitor divarasib extended overall survival and progression‑free survival in a Phase 3 head‑to‑head study against Amgen’s Lumakra and Bristol Myers Squibb’s Krazati.

The trial enrolled patients with non‑small cell lung cancer who had previously received therapy, and the data showed statistically significant improvements for the divarasib arm.

No new safety signals were observed; side effects were described as manageable and reversible.

Roche said detailed results will be presented at an upcoming medical meeting, underscoring its push into the emerging KRAS‑targeted market that accounts for about 14 % of NSCLC cases.
