Legend Biotech CEO Ying Huang resigns, interim leader Alan Bash appointed
Legend Biotech announced that its chief executive, Ying Huang, Ph.D., stepped down on Friday, with no permanent successor named yet.
The board named Alan Bash as interim CEO on July 23, according to an SEC filing. Bash, who joined Legend in 2024 as president of the Carvykti franchise, will oversee the company's operations during the transition.
Legend said Huang's departure was not due to any disagreement over operations, policies, or financial matters. Huang will stay on as an advisor through August to aid the handover.
