GSK partners with Engitix on multi-target liver research

GSK announced a collaboration with London-based Engitix to explore multiple targets for liver disease. Engitix will apply its extracellular matrix-based disease models to uncover new therapeutic opportunities.

Under the agreement, Engitix will generate target candidates that GSK can evaluate and potentially advance into drug development programs. The partnership is intended to broaden GSK’s pipeline in hepatology.

The briefing also noted that Sangamo is reviewing strategic options and that Pfizer has announced a recent label expansion, highlighting ongoing activity across the sector.
