Sanofi and Regeneron deepen collaboration, adding new immunology antibody program
Sanofi and Regeneron announced an expanded partnership that builds on the success of their joint drug Dupixet, targeting a pipeline of experimental antibodies for immunological disorders.
Under the agreement Sanofi will provide an upfront payment of $1 billion, with additional milestone payments that could reach $7 billion, and the two companies will split future profits evenly.
Regeneron will take responsibility for research and development of the new candidates, while Sanofi will lead the commercial launch and worldwide distribution.
The firms said the deal combines Regeneron’s discovery capabilities with Sanofi’s global reach to generate the next wave of immunology treatments.
