BioNTech's CTLA-4 antibody gotistobart shows 8.5-month survival boost in previously treated lung cancer patients

BioNTech reported new data on its CTLA-4 targeting antibody gotistobart in lung cancer.

The study focused on patients whose disease had progressed after prior therapy. Those receiving gotistobart lived on average 8.5 months longer than comparable controls.

This survival extension nearly doubled the median overall survival for this heavily pre‑treated group, providing compelling evidence for the drug’s efficacy.

The results are being presented ahead of a planned pivotal trial readout, and BioNTech says the data strengthen its development program.
