MLM Medical Labs (MLM) is a central and specialty lab provider with operations across the U.S., Germany and South Africa. Labcorp will now tap into those networks, expanding its own operations into the regions.
The deal also strengthens the company’s existing biomarker and specialty testing capabilities, Labcorp said in a statement. Most notably, the transaction adds Africa to Labcorp’s network, where MLM operates the continent's first fully CAP-accredited central laboratory. It also makes the company the only central lab provider with a wholly owned laboratory network across four continents: North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
