Labcorp acquires MLM Medical Labs to expand global lab network across four continents

Labcorp, a major medtech and testing company, announced it has completed the acquisition of MLM Medical Labs.

MLM operates central and specialty labs in the United States, Germany, and South Africa, giving Labcorp a presence in those markets.

The purchase adds Africa to Labcorp’s network, including the continent’s first fully CAP-accredited central laboratory, and makes Labcorp the only central lab provider with wholly owned labs on four continents: North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Financial terms were not disclosed. Labcorp said the deal strengthens its biomarker and specialty testing capabilities and enhances its ability to support clinical trial sponsors of all sizes.
