ADA panel still reviewing expulsions from June conference, further actions possible

Sep 6, 2026·read at STAT ↗Negative

The American Diabetes Association released top‑line findings on Sept. 1 from an internal panel tasked with reviewing the June 5 expulsion of five members at its New Orleans conference.

The full review remains confidential, and the association’s audit and governance committee said the initial findings did not incorporate the full breadth of its investigation or later interviews.

The committee said additional findings will be presented to the board, which could clarify or correct earlier information and may result in further board actions.
