Natera partners with Angiex to evaluate Signatera blood test in AGX101 cancer trial
Natera announced a collaboration with biotech Angiex to assess its Signatera circulating tumor DNA blood test in the context of Angiex’s early‑stage clinical trial of AGX101.
Angiex, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is running a phase 1 study of AGX101, a TM4SF1‑directed antibody‑drug conjugate designed to deliver a cytotoxic payload to tumor cells and tumor‑associated vasculature.
The partnership will explore whether longitudinal ctDNA measurements from Signatera can complement radiologic imaging, especially when scans show changes but viable tumor presence is uncertain.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Angiex’s CEO highlighted the potential of AGX101 for advanced solid tumors and the value of combining ctDNA data with imaging to better understand treatment response.
