Crystalys Therapeutics raises $130M Series B to advance gout drug dotinurad toward global launch
Crystalys Therapeutics announced a $130 million Series B financing to move its gout drug dotinurad through late-stage trials and prepare for commercial launch.
The round was led by Frazier Life Sciences and attracted more than 20 investors, including Wellington Management, Cormorant Asset Management, SR One and Novo Holdings.
Dotinurad, already approved in several Asian countries, is being positioned as a best-in-class treatment for gout, aiming to address limitations of existing options such as allopurinol and Amgen's Krystexxa.
The new funding follows a $205 million Series A raised last September, highlighting strong investor confidence in Crystalys's global development program.
