British biotech T-Therapeutics raises $133 million Series B to advance bispecific T-cell engagers
T-Therapeutics, a British biotech, announced a $133 million Series B financing to advance its next-generation T-cell engager therapeutics.
The round was co-led by Advent Life Sciences and the British Business Bank, with participation from Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Eli Lilly, Sanofi Ventures and other investors.
The capital will be used to push two lead bispecific TCR programs into the clinic: TTX-008 targeting CD3 for solid-tumor cancers, and TTX-018 aimed at autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, both built on the OpTiMus platform.
Having previously raised $91 million in Series A, the new funding moves the company toward a clinical-stage status.
