Evommune pays $30 million to Hinova for rights to develop oral VAV1 molecular glue degrader EVO570 outside China
Evommune announced a licensing agreement with Chinese firm Hinova Pharmaceuticals, paying $30 million upfront for access to a preclinical molecular glue program.
The agreement gives Evommune the rights to develop and commercialize EVO570, an oral VAV1-directed molecular glue degrader, in markets outside China.
Hinova will be eligible for up to $1.1 billion in milestone payments and tiered royalties if EVO570 reaches the market, and it has already secured approval for a Phase 1 study in the United States that will begin soon.
Targeting VAV1, which is largely confined to immune cells, could provide a safety advantage over broader JAK inhibitors, positioning Evommune in the same niche that Novartis is pursuing.
