AI drug developer Pathos secures $237 million Series E, valuation hits $3 billion
Pathos announced a $237 million Series E round led by Bristol Myers Squibb, lifting its valuation to about $3 billion.
The funding will support expansion beyond oncology into neurology, leveraging new datasets from Tempus AI and a partnership with BMS that will initially target Alzheimer’s treatments.
Pathos’ AI platform, called Foundry, runs thousands of computational agents that evaluate clinical data, genomics, specimen information and competitive landscape to estimate the probability of success for its drug candidates.
The company says the model helps decide which assets to develop, which patient populations to test, and how to design trials, aiming to improve the low success rate of clinical programs.
