Roche signs $15 billion ADC partnership with China's Hansoh Pharma
Roche has re-entered a partnership with China's Hansoh Pharmaceutical, signing a $15 billion biobucks agreement.
The deal covers a broad portfolio of antibody-drug conjugate programs, including two in preclinical development and several others based on Roche-suggested targets using Hansoh's ADC technology.
Hansoh will fund phase-1 trials and then hand the programs to Roche for global development outside Greater China. In return, Hansoh receives $400 million upfront and $110 million after one year, with potential milestone payments up to $15 billion and royalties.
The agreement also allows Hansoh to contribute to global development of two programs, giving it additional upside if those become commercialized.
