Pan Pepin recalls Para Bien Al Grano boxes after discovering undeclared sesame
Pan Pepin Inc., based in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, announced a recall of certain lots of its 24‑oz Para Bien Al Grano product because sesame was present but not listed on the label.
The undeclared sesame poses a risk to consumers with sesame allergy or severe sensitivity, potentially causing serious or life‑threatening reactions.
The affected lots were distributed throughout Puerto Rico and have sell‑by dates ranging from Oct 12 to Oct 21, 2026. Consumers with sesame allergy are advised not to eat the product, to return it for a refund, or to discard it.
The FDA published the recall notice on Oct 14, 2026, and Pan Pepin is cooperating with authorities to remove the product from shelves.
