Stryker appoints Spencer Stiles as CEO, Kevin Lobo to become Executive Chair

Stryker announced a leadership change, naming Spencer Stiles as the new chief executive officer.

Stiles, who has been president and COO, will also join the board. Kevin Lobo, who has led the company since 2012, will shift to the role of executive chair of the board effective Jan. 1, 2027.

Lobo’s tenure saw the company’s net sales grow from $8.7 billion in 2012 to over $26 billion in 2026, expanding its portfolio and global reach. He praised Stiles’ leadership and the board’s succession planning.
