Deano’s Pasta recalls 20 lbs of ravioli over undeclared lobster allergen

Deano’s Pasta of Somerville, Massachusetts announced a recall of its Pear and Pecorino Triangoli Ravioli after discovering the product may contain undeclared lobster, a crustacean shellfish allergen.

Approximately 20 pounds of the frozen ravioli, packaged in 1‑lb bags with lot codes 090126126, 082526126, 081826126, and 073126126, were distributed to retail stores in Massachusetts between August 10 and September 22, 2026.

The recall was triggered by a customer complaint that led to an internal audit, revealing a temporary breakdown in production and packaging that allowed lobster to be present without labeling. No illnesses have been reported.

Consumers who purchased the affected product are advised not to eat it and to return it or discard it. The company is working with the FDA to resolve the issue.
