GF Blends recalls AIP flour and flatbread mixes over undeclared wheat gluten

GF Blends announced a recall of its Truly AIP All Purpose Flour and Bread Mix and the EAT G.A.N.G.S.T.E.R. Flat Bread Pizza Mix because testing found undeclared wheat gluten.

The products were made with plantain flour supplied by PMF Global, which was labeled gluten-free, but independent testing showed gluten levels far above the FDA limit of 20 ppm.

The recall affects specific lot numbers and best-by dates listed by the company. No adverse health reports have been received as of the announcement date, September 18, 2026.

GF Blends said it will continue testing to verify gluten presence and is working with the FDA on the recall process.
