Trump announces GENEROUS model, securing pharma deals to cut Medicaid drug prices

President Trump announced a new initiative called the GENEROUS model that is intended to lower drug prices for state Medicaid programs.

The program will involve all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, and more than two dozen pharmaceutical companies have agreed to sell drugs to Medicaid at prices similar to those in peer countries.
