FreshPoint recalls 1,093 Cranberry Chicken Salad Sandwiches over undeclared egg allergen
FreshPoint Central Florida announced a voluntary recall of its Cranberry Chicken Salad Wedge sandwiches after discovering an egg allergen was not listed in the "Contains" statement on the packaging.
The recall covers 1,093 units from specific lot codes that were distributed between August 19 and September 3, 2026 to a single convenience store customer in Georgia and Florida. The products are packaged in clear plastic containers with use-by dates from September 3 to September 17, 2026.
The company said the omission was found during an internal label review and that no illnesses have been reported. Consumers are advised to discard the affected sandwiches.
