Roche partners with Simcere Zaiming on trispecific T cell engager, $75M upfront

Roche announced a collaboration with Chinese biopharma Simcere Zaiming to develop a trispecific T cell engager aimed at cancer therapy.

The agreement includes an upfront payment of $75 million to Simcere and sets out milestones for preclinical work and future development stages.

This deal follows a similar partnership Roche struck with another Chinese company just weeks earlier, highlighting the Swiss group's focus on expanding its immuno‑oncology pipeline in China.

The collaboration will allow Roche to access Simcere’s platform and expertise while providing Simcere with funding and potential access to Roche’s global commercialization network.
