Eli Lilly partners with Amplitude Therapeutics to develop trans-amplifying RNA vaccines for infectious diseases
Eli Lilly announced a collaboration with Boston-based Amplitude Therapeutics, a company that emerged from Lilly’s Gateway Labs incubator.
The partnership will focus on developing trans-amplifying RNA (taRNA) vaccine platforms aimed at infectious diseases that have high unmet medical need.
Amplitude, founded in 2022, has received backing from investors such as ARCH Venture Partners, Newpath Partners, Alta Partners, the Gates Foundation, as well as U.S. government agencies including BARDA and CEPI.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, and Lilly retains the option to add up to two additional infectious disease targets to the collaboration.
