Grand Central Bakery recalls Potato Sourdough loaves over possible metal contamination
Grand Central Bakery of Seattle announced a recall of its Potato Sourdough bread after discovering that some loaves might contain metal fragments.
The recall covers loaves sold on August 10, 2026 at grocery stores, select restaurants, wholesalers, and four of the company's café locations in the Seattle and Tacoma metro areas.
Affected product sizes include 20‑oz and 12‑oz loaves packaged in paper bags. Consumers are advised not to eat the bread and to return it for a refund.
The company added Metropolitan Markets to the recall notice on August 19, 2026. No injuries have been reported.
