LabCentral partners with Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks to link biotech founders across US and China

LabCentral, a Massachusetts biotech accelerator, signed a memorandum of understanding with Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) in June at the BIO International Convention.

The agreement is designed to enable the exchange of scientists and startup teams between the two regions, giving Hong Kong biotech firms access to the U.S. ecosystem and allowing U.S. founders to explore opportunities in China.

Both sides framed the partnership as a response to rising geopolitical risk and the surge of Chinese biopharma activity, positioning Hong Kong as a gateway for future collaboration and dealmaking.

The parties expressed confidence that the collaboration will spark new innovation and attract further investment to Hong Kong’s growing biotech sector.
