Argenx reports positive Phase 3 results for Vyvgart Hytrulo in myositis

Argenx announced that its subcutaneous formulation of Vyvgart, named Vyvgart Hytrulo, met the primary endpoint in a late‑stage Phase 3 trial in patients with myositis.

The trial combined participants with dermatomyositis and immune‑mediated necrotizing myopathy, and showed statistically significant improvements in the Total Improvement Score compared with placebo, reflecting better muscle strength and physical health.

Researchers highlighted that the therapy could reduce reliance on long‑term steroids, addressing an unmet need in this rare autoimmune disease where few targeted treatments exist.

Shares of Argenx jumped more than 13% following the announcement, reflecting investor confidence that the data may support regulatory approval for this new indication.
