Biotech firm Biogen secures Chinese approval for felzartamab in second-line multiple myeloma

Biogen announced that its monoclonal antibody felzartamab has received regulatory clearance in China for use in patients with multiple myeloma who have already received first-line therapy.

The approval allows felzartamab to be prescribed as a second-line option together with the established regimen of lenalidomide and dexamethasone.

This marks the first global approval of felzartamab, expanding Biogen’s oncology pipeline and providing a new treatment avenue for Chinese multiple myeloma patients.
