Taiho and Cullinan's zipalertinib clears Phase 3 trial in EGFR-mutated lung cancer

Taiho Oncology and Cullinan Therapeutics announced that their oral EGFR inhibitor zipalertinib successfully completed a registrational Phase 3 study in patients with a specific genetic form of lung cancer.

The trial evaluated zipalertinib as a first-line treatment and met its primary endpoints, positioning the drug as a potential competitor to existing therapies such as Rybrevant.
