Frankie's Organic recalls vegan cheddar puffs over undeclared milk, warning allergic consumers

Frankie's Organic Foods Inc. announced a recall of 94 cases of its Plant-Based Vegan Cheddar Puffs after discovering the snack may contain undeclared milk, creating a serious risk for people with milk allergy.

The affected packages list a best-if-used-by date of May 16, 2027, UPC 8192900008905 and lot code 16. They were distributed to stores in Washington, Florida and South Carolina, including PCC Markets and Earth Fare, and the recall was prompted by two allergy complaints reported in Canada.

Frankie's Organic is coordinating with three distribution centers to pull any remaining stock and asks consumers to check their pantries and discard the product. No other Frankie’s Organic items are impacted.
