Denali Therapeutics' Avlayah generates $3.6M in Q1, beating forecasts

Denali Therapeutics reported that its newly launched Hunter syndrome therapy Avlayah earned $3.6 million in revenue during the first quarter after its April market entry.

Analysts had projected roughly $1.3 million for the quarter, so the actual sales more than doubled expectations, according to Stifel.

Company CEO Ryan Watts attributed the strong uptake to an engaged patient community and longstanding collaborations with clinicians and advocacy groups.

Based on the early performance, Denali raised its third‑quarter revenue guidance to between $10 million and $12 million.
