An internal investigation confirmed that a soba sauce, which contains fish, was mistakenly packed into Sura Tanmen kits. Fish is not declared as an allergen on the Sura Tanmen packaging.The issue was traced to a single production run and has been corrected.

Sun Noodle has reviewed subsequent production lots and confirmed they contain the correct soup base. The company is reviewing its packing verification procedures to prevent any recurrence.Consumers who have purchased Sura Tanmen with lot code 1226183 are urged not to consume the product and to return it to the original place of purchase for a full refund.
