Pharma's reputation among patient groups edges up to 57% but access and pricing concerns linger

Patient groups surveyed by research firm PatientView gave drugmakers a 57% “good” or “excellent” reputation rating, the highest level since 2023. The survey covered more than 2,400 groups in 35 countries between December 2025 and March 2026.

The rating rose modestly from 56% in 2024, matching the level seen the year before, but remains below the 60% share recorded in 2022. Patient centricity and safety were cited as the main drivers of the slight improvement.

Despite the uptick, respondents continued to voice worries about drug access and pricing, suggesting that the industry still has work to do to meet patient expectations.
