Teva says it has time to prepare for upcoming US tariffs on imported generic drugs

Teva CEO Richard Francis said the company believes it has sufficient time to prepare for the tariffs the Trump administration is considering on generic drugs imported from outside the United States.

The proposed tariffs would raise costs on non-US generics. Teva says it is actively involved in discussions and has flexibility in its supply chain to manage the impact.

Francis added that Teva will monitor policy developments and adjust its sourcing strategy as needed to limit disruption for patients and shareholders.
