Fresh & Ready Foods recalls Spicy Breakfast Burritos over undeclared soy
Fresh & Ready Foods LLC announced a recall of its Sprig & Sprout and Fresh and Ready Spicy Breakfast Burritos because they may contain undeclared soy.
The problem was traced to inadvertent inclusion of sausage in products labeled vegetarian, creating a soy allergen risk for people with soy allergy or severe sensitivity.
The recall applies to burritos produced at the Charlotte, North Carolina facility between July 9 and July 12, 2026, with a fresh-thru date of July 20, 2026, and distributed in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
All other products from that facility and from other Fresh & Ready Foods facilities are not affected.
Consumers with soy allergy are advised not to consume the recalled items and to follow the recall instructions provided by the company and the FDA.
