Acrosian launches AI-focused biometrics CRO targeting pharma and biotech
Acrosian has been introduced as a new contract research organization built for the AI era. The firm is founded by Benjamin Jackson, Soumitra Chowdhury and Vladimir Mats, who previously created the CRO Quartesian in 2003.
The company will provide data management, biostatistics, statistical programming and medical writing services to biopharma and medical device firms. Its AI‑augmented workflows are designed to operate within a GxP‑validated framework and aim at emerging biotech companies as well as large global pharmaceutical groups.
Jackson will act as chairman, Chowdhury as chief executive officer, and Mats as chief commercial officer. Their prior experience includes Quartesian’s acquisition by Veranex in 2021, after which the founders decided to reunite and launch Acrosian.
