Roche Diagnostics sales rise only 3% in H1 2026 as China pricing reforms weigh
Roche Diagnostics reported sales of 6.73 billion Swiss francs for the first half of 2026, a 3% increase at constant exchange rates but a 3% decline in reported franc terms.
Growth was limited by pricing reforms in China, where the Asia‑Pacific diagnostic market fell 5% at constant rates, though this was better than the 12% drop seen in 2025.
Sales rose in all other regions, led by a 10% jump in Latin America. Within the division, Pathology Lab drove the strongest growth with an 11% increase, while Core Lab and Molecular Lab grew 4% and 3% respectively.
The modest overall performance keeps Roche’s diagnostic segment largely stagnant, echoing the 2% full‑year revenue rise recorded for 2025.
