Dimension raises $800 million for third fund to boost AI-driven biotech ventures
Dimension, a venture capital firm focused on the intersection of technology and biotech, announced the closing of its largest fund to date, raising $800 million for its third fund, called Dimension III.
The new fund brings the firm’s total assets under management to $1.65 billion and backs a portfolio of 35 companies that blend high‑performance computing with drug discovery.
Founders Adam Goulburn, Zavain Dar and Nan Li said the capital will accelerate the “digitization” of drugmaking, supporting startups that employ computer scientists alongside biologists.
The firm recently saw one of its portfolio companies acquired by AI leader Anthropic, underscoring the growing interest in AI‑driven biotech.
