Broad Institute partners with Boston Children’s Hospital and Jackson Lab to launch Center for Therapeutic Genetics for rare diseases

The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard announced a partnership with Boston Children’s Hospital and the Jackson Laboratory to create a Center for Therapeutic Genetics focused on rare diseases.

The new center will combine the three institutions' strengths in genomics, pediatric clinical care, and model-organism research to develop genetic therapies.

By pooling resources and expertise, the collaboration aims to speed the discovery and translation of treatments for patients with rare genetic conditions.
