Cue Biopharma appoints Dominic Borie as chief medical officer and head of R&D
Cue Biopharma announced the hiring of Dr. Dominic Borie, MD, PhD, as its new chief medical officer and head of research and development.
Borie joins from Kyverna Therapeutics, where he served as a strategic advisor after previously holding roles as president of R&D and founding CEO. He also has past leadership experience at Amgen, Genentech, and Horizon Therapeutics.
He said the company’s differentiated pipeline, talented team, solid financial foundation, and focus on allergic and autoimmune diseases make the opportunity compelling.
Cue aims to present phase 2 data for its dual‑mechanism anti‑IgE antibody CUE‑221 by the third quarter of 2026 and is preparing to start phase 1 trials for its autoimmune candidate CUE‑401.
