Overall, about 2.6 million fewer Americans were covered by Obamacare plans in February compared with the same month last year, following the January expiration of enhanced subsidies.

The dataset, released by the Trump administration in late June and reviewed by KFF, captures new sign‑ups, automatic reenrollments and premium payments, including retroactive removals after grace periods, confirming expectations of a significant decline.
