Angitia Biopharmaceuticals announced that it has ended the Phase 3 study of its investigational therapy AGA111 in patients with degenerative disc disease who had undergone lumbar interbody fusion.
The company said the trial was terminated in both the United States and China, effectively halting the late-stage development of the candidate. No efficacy or safety results were disclosed.
In the same briefing, Abivax highlighted its upcoming colitis data, which the firm believes could support a market opportunity of up to $800 million.
