Rapport Therapeutics says it is ready to launch its seizure drug independently

In a recent interview, CEO Abe Ceesay explained that Rapport Therapeutics has assembled an investor syndicate and feels fully prepared to bring its seizure drug to market on its own.

Founded in 2023 through a collaboration with Third Rock, the company aims to join the ranks of successful commercial-stage brain‑focused biotech firms such as Biohaven and Alkermes.

While the biotech sector often sees investors retreat at the launch stage, analysts note that even small companies can succeed in neurological markets, and Rapport is positioning itself to defy that trend.

The firm plans to move forward without a commercial partner, relying on its financing and internal capabilities to launch the therapy.
