HHS Secretary RFK Jr. says his calendar is public, but STAT finds no record after a year of requests

Health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told reporters his calendar is publicly available as proof of his “radical transparency” pledge.

STAT has filed Freedom of Information Act requests and emailed the HHS press office for more than a year, but the agency has not released the schedule nor confirmed receipt of many requests.

The lack of a publicly posted calendar contrasts with Kennedy’s campaign promises and comes as HHS faces lawsuits and criticism over other information‑request handling, raising questions about the department’s openness.
