Tango Therapeutics reports strong early response with vopimetostat plus daraxonrasib in pancreatic cancer trial

Tango Therapeutics announced that its experimental epigenetic drug vopimetostat, when combined with Revolution Medicines' KRAS inhibitor daraxonrasib, produced high response rates in a small pancreatic cancer study.

The early data showed nearly all patients treated so far responded, outperforming daraxonrasib alone in a comparable population whose disease had progressed after at least one prior therapy, beating Wall Street expectations.

Following the announcement, Tango’s shares jumped up to 49% in morning trading. The company had recently shifted its strategy to focus on the combination, which had previously caused a sell‑off.

Tango plans to launch a pivotal Phase 3 trial of the combination later this year to confirm the benefit in a larger cohort.
