nPhase secures $30M Series D to grow AI-driven clinical data platform
CRO nPhase announced it has closed a $30 million Series D financing round. The capital will be directed toward expanding its AI-native clinical data platform that debuted in September, which aims to connect the entire clinical data lifecycle from study start to regulatory filing.
The company says the platform mines data from multiple sources, standardizes and validates it, and creates an AI-ready foundation that gives teams near real time insight into safety and operational trends.
CEO Scott Climes noted the funding will speed up the addition of agentic AI capabilities, with the goal of shortening submission timelines from months to weeks while keeping humans in control of key decisions.
The round was led by Viking Global Investors and marks nPhase’s first financing since 2017. Founded in 2014, the Florida-based firm also developed the REDCap Cloud electronic data capture system.
