Veradermics reports Phase 3 minoxidil pill boosts hair coverage in men
After a February IPO that raised more than $256 million and a strong share rally, Connecticut‑based Veradermics now has late‑stage data for its oral minoxidil candidate.
In the Phase 3 Study 304, over 500 men with mild‑to‑moderate pattern hair loss received the drug once or twice daily or a placebo. After six months the once‑daily group added about 28.6 hairs per cm² and the twice‑daily group about 36.4 hairs per cm², compared with 6.6 hairs per cm² for placebo.
Patient‑reported outcomes also favored the active treatment, supporting a regulatory filing that could lead to FDA approval.
